Labeled as the "Hawaii of Korea," Jeju Island is definitely the summer capital of the nation. It is also the biggest island in South Korea and is home to one of its nine provinces. 

Jeju Island is known for its various natural tourist sites and museums. But, common problem among tourists who have visited the island is the lack of time to visit each and every attraction available. If time or duration of stay is an issue, here are the top eight places in Jeju Island that you have to prioritize.

1. Seongsan Ilchulbong is a UNESCO World Heritage site which is also known as Sunrise Peak. It is one of the 360 parasitic volcanoes in Jeju and is probably the most famous among them.

2. Hallasan National  Park is a 149 kmexquisite land boasting of varied flowers and vegetation centered on Mt. Hallasan which is now a dormant volcano. This mountain is also the highest point in South Korea and is located exactly at the middle of the island.

3. Teddy Bear Museum showcases a wide range of different stuffed bear toys. The displays include antique collections, international citizens, popular personalities, and even the traditional Jeju villages and people.

4.  Jusangjeolli Cliffs was formed thousand of years ago when Mt. Hallasan erupted into the sea. This volcanic rock formation has an observation deck wherein you can have a great view of waves splashing against the incredible pillars.

5. Jeongbang Falls is recognized as the only waterfall that falls directly into the sea in Asia. Sea divers surround this area because it is rich in sea cucumbers, seaweeds and abalones.

6. Manjanggul Cave houses the longest lava tube in the world. It offers a splendid interior full of amazing stalactites and stalagmites.

7. Cheonjeyeon Falls literally means "God's Pond." It has an impressive height of 72 feet and spans at 39 feet wide. This steep body of water is surrounded by an array of flora and fauna.

8. Love Land is an outdoor theme sculpture park focused on sensuality and sexuality. It hosts a total of 140 sculptures depicting humans in different sexual positions.
