[Korean Wave] Few Things To Know Before You Visit Lotte World

Feed your eyes with the colorful designs, test your patience with the long lines, and most of all dare yourself to experience the extreme rides as you feel young all over again at South Korea's version of Universal Studios and Disneyland, the Lotte World.

With approximately 6,000,000 visitors each year, the Lotte World is fast becoming one of the world's most famous amusement parks. It offers a variety of attractions and rides for all members of the family. It is truly a magical place to unwind, feel free, and bond with your loved ones.

Planning may be a tedious job but it's always better to be prepared than to be sorry. Here are some useful information to let you enjoy a hassle-free time at Lotte World.

1. Contact Number. +82-2-411-2000

2. Operating Hours. 09:30 AM - 10:00 PM

3. Directions.  Go to Jamsil Station (Seoul Subway Line 2 and 8) and leave at Exit 4. Lotte World is right in front of that area.

4. Ticket Prices per Admission Time. 

      All Day Pass or Passport 
        Adults - 44,000 won / Youth - 38,000 won / Children - 34,000 won / Infants - 11,000 won
        * game attractions excluded

      4PM Admission Time
        Adults - 34,000 won / Youth - 30,000 won / Children - 26,000 won / Infants - 11,000 won

      General Admission Tickets are priced at 26,000 won during the morning and 22,000 won after 4PM.

5. Parking. It's free all day for passport users while free for the first 3 hours only for the general admission ticket holders.

6. Divisions. Lotte World is divided into two, the Adventure Land  and the Magic Island.

Adventure Land - The world's largest indoor theme park wherein a big ice skating rink is surrounded by more than 20 different rides and attractions. Shops, games and even food shops are arranged and inspired by different countries in the area. On the 3rd floor, a folk museum depicts Korea's rich culture and history through pictures, exhibits and artifacts.

Magic Island - This is an artificial island situated in Seokchon Lake. A huge castle facade will greet you at the entrance wherein you'll be welcomed with 17 extreme rides like the Gyro Vertical Drop, The Atlantis and a lot more.

7. TIP. Be sure to be there as early as when the gate opens. A lot of people visit each day and it takes long queues to experience each ride. Maximize your time!
