While countless artists and illustrators have already rendered the timeless fairy tales we knew as kids, these
renditions stand out among the rest. Na Young Wu, a young artist from Korea, brings a breathtaking whiff of fresh air to these familiar tales as she re-imagines what they would be like if they were to take place in Korea.

Wu dressed our beloved characters in traditional hanboks and put them in unique, delicately-detailed settings, flaunting the ancient Korean culture and aesthetic beautifully.
Not only do they give the viewers an insight to the Korean art form, they also give East Asian cultures a way to identify with these Western characters.
