[DIY] How To Make A Floral Sun Hat?

Protect our face and eyes from the harmful effects of the sun rays especially this summer season. A hat truly fulfills its role as one of the simplest objects for sun protection. You can make your look more stylish when you wear a hat and at the same time, you're giving your face and eyes more protection that with sunblock alone.

Today, we're giving you simple steps on how make your own sun hat. Before we start, you should prepare first these things.

1. Old / new straw sun hat
2. Fake flowers (With stems)
3. Wire cutter
4. Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Step 1: Trim Stems

Start this DIY by trimming the stems on your fake flowers. Make sure that it must be about two inches long.

Step 2: Glue Flowers

Put some hot glue onto the hat where the brim meets the dome, then press the flower stem in to the hot glue.

Step 3: Repeat Gluing Process

Do the same glue and stick process by placing each flower behind the one in front of it.

Step 4: Secure All Flowers

Continue gluing the flowers and leaves to the hat all the way around the dome. Then allow the glue to dry completely and you're done!
