Year after year, most of just use the same festive ornaments up on our Christmas trees, these range from bells, stars, snowmen, santas, angels, nutcrackers, acorns, bows to poinsettias. Now, I see nothing wrong with traditional Christmas decors but there's also nothing wrong with wanting a little change, especially if you'll be able to save a few bucks and do something good for the environment.
If you're ready to switch it up to more eco-friendly choices then here are a few ideas to get you started:
1. Bottle Cap Snowman
Start collecting soda bottle caps, get a little crafty and make these cute snowmen for a nostalgic vibe.

5. Old CD Mosaic Ball
We all have tons of old CDs in our homes, some from decades ago. They can be cut into pieces and used as an alternative to mosaic tiles to make these sparkly ornaments.
