Nail polish are fun, festive and party appropriate, but when it comes to taking them off, it may be as hard as removing sticky super glue. This could also lead to some damages onto your nails.

There are a few tips that will make this a lot easier, faster and completely painless. So get ready and don't hold back!

 1. Start with the base

Whenever we apply one stroke of polish onto our nails, we put heavy duty base coat. This will be one of the hardest things to remove so make sure you won't skip it.

2. Keep your hands to yourself

Once the polish begins to chip, don't ever try to pick or scratch it. You can damage the face of your nails if you try to remove it by force.

3. Soak it up

After removing the base coat, grab a couple of cotton balls or pads and soak it in nail polish remover. Put the cotton balls on your nails and cover it with aluminum foil so that it would stay in place. Leave it for at least 5 minutes.

4. Smooth off

If there are specks that won't be removed easily, try using a nail buffer. But this time, rub it gently back and forth horizontally until specks are removed completely. Avoid using a nail file to replace a buffer. They can bring so much stress and damage to your nails.

5. Get back on track

After everything has been removed, your nails deserve to be pampered with tender-loving-care. Apply a nourishing cuticle oil and you're done!
