Charlize Theron
The Cut:
“This really is a buzzed style you tend to see on boys,” says Theron’s hairstylist Enzo Angileri. “Because it’s so easy to wear, Charlize and I have been referring to it as ‘freedom.’” The crop—which is closely shorn to the head all around, with slight volume on top—stays feminine thanks to delicate tapering at the sideburns and nape.
What You Should Know:
“Bright, dimensional hair color makes the cut more interesting,” says Angileri. “And I have to be honest—it looks best on a woman with a gorgeous, proportional body.”

Olivia Wilde
The Cut:
“Olivia wanted a shorter cut, but not super-short,” explains her hairstylist David Babaii. This collarbone-grazing style, with rounded face-framing layers, was his solution.
What You Should Know:
“This is a great wash and go cut,” says Babaii. “Plus, it’s still long enough that you can throw it in a ponytail, which Olivia loves to do.” Her slightly sun-kissed tips add a bit of edge.

Amanda Seyfried
The Cut:
The beauty of this sleek style is in its simplicity. “Amanda’s hair is one length with long layers,” says her hairstylist Jenny Cho.
What You Should Know:
“If your hair is going to be this long, it has to be healthy too,” says Cho, so plan on weekly deep conditioning treatments. She also adds that while the cut would suit an oval face best, it can be modified with additional layers and angling to accommodate other shapes, too.
