1. Anemone

Also known as windflowers. Join up the dots and colour in the background with brightly coloured anemones that make great cut flowers. Plant the bulbs in autumn, with their pointy ends facing down.

2. Daffodils

Also known as ‘Narcissus’. During the late winter and spring, they look so bright and cheerful. Plant around lawns or under trees in clumps for maximum effect.

A flowering plant in the pea family. The scent of the pendulous purple blooms of wisteria fill the air during springtime. They also come in white, pink, double mauve and mauve and white varieties.
