The 26 year old actor has been in the showbiz industry for quite some time. In fact, he has started his career way back in 2007 where he was a part of the sitcom, Kimchi Cheese Smile. Then, a few minor roles followed his television debut earning him a spot in the Korean entertainment scene.
It was in year 2009 when his name had really been recognized. His talent was validated through his first acting award with his stellar performance in the melodrama Will It Snow For Christmas. However, it was his role in the fantasy romance series, My Love from the Star which made him one of the most famous actors of his generation.
His fame have reached the Chinese audience and bagged him a total of thirty-five product endorsements this year. Now, in his seven years as an actor he is definitely a true blue Hallyu star.
