[Decor] Cool Ways to Organize a Bookshelf

Bookworms, unite! Take advantage of the last remaining days of summer to organize your beloved books and prized first editions in offbeat and cool ways. The simple act of organizing your books can be greatly rewarding as it not only makes you feel like you own a real library (with only the books you love, of course) but it also makes looking for a particular book such a breeze!

1. Alphabetical

The most basic and typical bookstore system but there are many other options when it comes to your home library. You can either organize by the book title (for those times you can't remember who wrote what), the author's first or last names.

2. Color Coding

Very appealing to the eyes and can even be the focal point of your reading room. You can either arrange your bookshelves into one giant rainbow or mix and match colors to match the color theme of your home decor. To make a bold statement, arrange black and white books or allot a special section for bright neon covered books.

3. Genre

For those days when you just want to cuddle to a book based on feels. You can organize them based on emotions and even label them as: funny, creative, travel, sad, inspirational, nostaligic, books that make me cry, books that make me want to write love letters, books that make me want to throw things and the such.

Have fun and blog about it or post photos of your revamped bookshelves below. Wink!
