[DIY] Creating Beaded Jean Cuffs

Are you thinking of buying a new pair of jeans this weekend? Instead of planning to get a new one, why not try to use your old jeans and make it better and stylish than before?

Here's a DIY that can help you save money and can be your hobby too!

Things you need to prepare:


  • Thread & needle
  • Assorted beads
  • Scissors
  • Old Jeans
  • Glue gun
  • Pearls or rhinestones

Step 1

String your needle and tie a knot at the end, then pull your needle through from the underside of the fabric.

Step 2

With the bead strung insert your needle approximately 1/4 inch away from the original entry point.

Step 3

Continue to bead your cuff, interchanging beads and spacing them randomly.

Dab a small amount of glue on the back of your pearl or rhinestone, then fill in the gaps with your pearls/rhinestone until you're achieve your desired look.

This DIY is great for sprucing up your old pair of jeans or to just add some bling to your favorite pair. Don't always buy a new one when you can make a better one! ;)
